About Me

For more than 20 years, I have served Bay Area families in need as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California license #40861). As the founder and provider of services for Bay Area Family and Parent Counseling, Inc., I teach couples and individuals undergoing separation or divorce how to implement best parenting practices to optimize a child's success during the transition of separation and divorce.

Services and experience include: consultation, coparent counseling; therapy for individuals; creating and implementing parenting plans; divorce and custody mediation; confidential mediation;  recommending mediation;  and parent coaching.

I am a member of AFCC ( Association for Family Conciliation Courts), and a trained Parenting Coordinator, Custody Evaluator, Trained Mediator, and Coparent Counselor.

Prior to founding Bay Area Family and Parent Counseling, Inc., I was co-director of the Restorative Justice Program North County. I’ve also served as a youth intervention worker, and as a therapist for adults, couples, adolescents, and children at CHAC (Community Health Awareness Council in Mountain View, Ca.), and in private practice.

I hold an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
